Balloon and/or Magic Shows Prices All Travel is included for events within the Waukesha area. There is an additional $10 gas allowance forany event over 30 miles from the City of Waukesha, and $10 each additional 30 miles. Private Parties Private "Birthday type" shows are $150 for a 45 minute interactive performance (This is a show and has larger balloons, more audience interaction, and I try to give every every child a smaller balloon and the "special guest a larger balloon." Restaurants Restaurant work is at the rate of $175 for three hours or $200 for four hours. (Each new restaurant receives a larger display model to advertise the coming of my appearance the first time). School, Library and Church Fairs School, Library and Church Fairs "shows" are $150 for a 45 minute interactive performance (This is a show and has larger balloons, more audience interaction, but not every child receives a balloon. This show is better for larger groups and school assemblies.) School, Library and Church Fairs "line work" is $200 for two hours, $50 each additional hour. ("Line work" is where the artist stands in one place and a line of children wait in line to receive a balloon. These are much smaller balloons and while I try to get to every child it is not always possible. For really large groups I recommend the "Show" over "line work". "Classroom" work- Is for groups of kids from 5 to about 30 in a classroom. This is to be used as a reward to the class for a job well done, a lesson on "how to twist balloons" (art class) or both. It is done during the normal school day. The cost is $35 per classroom, plus a dollar per child in the class. I realize budgets are tight for teachers so this is offered to them on a first come first serve basis. VERY PUBLIC FORUMS Shopping Malls, City Festivals, Fairs and Trade Show events (In addition to the gas allowance listed above, hotel accomodation or allowance is required for any event over 100 miles away and booked for more than one day.) "Line work" is $300 for two hours/ $550 for four hours/ $800 for six hours or $1000 for 10 hours. A 10 minute break is required after 4 hours. "Shows"- 45 minute interactive show is $450. (BIGGER BALLOONS are made using balloons that are not only larger, but out of balloons that are harder to use, but easier to see.) "Emcee" (Master of Ceremonies) position is $500 per show. This includes a 20 minute act and smaller sets between announcing acts in a variety show setting. "Comedy Club"- Ideal for opening position. A 20-30 minute act interacting with the audience using sarcassism, wit and a lot of cool balloons all for $200 Displays or Deliveries Each display or delivery is catored to your specifications, because of this prices are near impossible to quote on line. CLICK HERE FOR DISPLAY EXAMPLES Lectures and Instruction Lectures on Balloon Twisting is $150 for 30 people or less, $250 for groups from 31 to 50. I do not recommend groups over 50. The Basic Level covers the dog, bear, heart, sword, mouse and flower, if time permits one or two more basics animals Intermediate Level includes the fishing pole (with all three fish types), bear on plane, a pink panther, a snail, alligator and/or dinosaur, pig and a 6 foot mystery bird. Advanced Level "parodies" class includes a daffy duck, a road runner, a woodsy woodpecker, a rabbit named Roger, a mouse named mickey and a goofy looking dog. "EXTRAS" classes you must have taken the basic level class or be "tested" out of it to take this class. This class includes: Entertaining with balloons, marketing your skills, facing the "pitfalls of doing balloons and how to avoid them and creative ways to grow your business. All these classes are between an hour and 45 minutes to three hours. There will be a break time offered to refresh. BOOKING PARTY MUST PROVIDE A PLACE TO INSTRUCT. Some balloons will be brought, but it is encouraged that people bring their own balloons and pumps. Some pumps will be available for purchase should people wish to purchase them. Private Lessons Private lessons are available on limited basis. These are one to one classes where you will learn the ins and outs of ballooning first hand. Private lessons are $25 an hour. Normally you will learn between 7 and 10 basic animals in an hour. You can easily learn 3-4 intermediate animals in an hour or 2 advanced items in an hour. You will learn alot of items not normally taught in my classes. This is done in your "home". You will learn how to buy balloons, store balloons, twist balloons, entertain with balloons and sell your show. I do not give lessons to children under 9 years old and must meet the learning party in person before I agree to teach. I will be able to test eye hand movements, learn about seriousness and find out if I should teach right or left handed to aid the student.
